Aurora Board Game Circle is a relaxed, welcoming group for adults (18+) in the Aurora, Colorado area.

This group is just getting off the ground. I have reserved a meeting room in a library for the first meeting on Saturday, July 26th - see the details below.

About me: My name is Beth, and I’m a woman in my 50’s who grew up here in Aurora. I’ve been wanting to find a suitable board game group that meets close enough to where I live, and is not held in a bar. I could not locate something that suited me, so I decided to start one. :)

Age range for group: Adults 18+.

Meeting location(s) in general: Reserved meeting rooms in libraries, and possibly other non-commercial locations like fire stations later, depending on preference and availability.

Style of game: Word games, board games, card games. Ideally things that can be finished in one session.

But of course the games we end up playing will depend on the participants - what people bring, and what games they like.

Overall vibe: Chill and fairly quiet.

The First Meeting

Date and time: Saturday, July 26th, 2025, from 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm. (3.5 hours)

Location: Mission Viejo Branch of the Aurora Public Library, 15324 E Hampden Circle, Aurora, CO 80013. Near cross streets: Hampden and Chambers.

Drinks and snacks policy: The library does allow snacks, and the policy states: “Service of pre-purchased, ready-to-eat refreshments including light snacks are permitted at facilities that allow food in the room specific description. Please only bring food and drink that won’t make a mess.

Room capacity: 40 people - 40 chairs, 10 tables
